The Gatehouse
The Gatehouse, 73 Bank Street, Port Fairy
Built in the early twentieth century and adjacent to the Old St Andrews estate, this cottage is ideal for families. It was refurbished between 2016 and 2018 including a new kitchen, bathroom/laundry, WC and conservatory. The rear garden is fully fenced, secure for young children and pets, with a large private lawn area ideal for backyard cricket and boules. The herb and vegetable or 'potager' garden is separately fenced. The cottage overlooks the Old St Andrews church. The Gatehouse, a short walk to the centre of town, is close to everything.
THE GATEHOUSE:
- Accommodates four people in a queen bedroom and in a twin bedroom, both will a wall radiator
- Includes a fold-out sofa bed in the dining room, with a wall radiator
- Has a comfortable living area with FREE Wi-Fi, smart TV, CD, DVD and gas-fired heating
- Has a fully equipped kitchen
- Has a combined bathroom, WC and laundry
- Has a private backyard with outdoor facilities and barbecue
- Includes off-street parking
- Provides free Wi-Fi with excellent coverage and speed
- Is a non-smoking environment
Bookings
BOOKINGS & PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Arrival time from 2.00 p.m., with departure by 10.00 a.m.
- Bookings can be by email, phone or SMS.
- A deposit is required to confirm a booking.
- Full payment is required seven days before occupation by direct bank transfer. Receipts issued for all payments. Credit card facilities NOT available.
- Cancellation within four weeks of occupation incurs a fee of $50.
- Rates are valid until June 2027.

Minimum stay two nights except for Special Packages, usually special weekends which have a minimum stay of three nights. Rates remain fixed until the end of June 2027.
